Rebecca is a Rotary Global Scholar who is in Glasgow this year to study. She is a member of Glasgow Rotaract and was speaking to us on Thursday 13th May
"From Iowa to Scotland: A bit about me”
Global Grant Scholar Becca Draus from Iowa, USA is currently a MSc Information and Library Studies student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Previous to coming to Scotland for her masters, Becca was a primary school teacher for four years.
In her presentation, Becca shared information about Iowa and the area that she grew up in, along with what her life has been like living in rural Iowa and how she came to be in Scotland.
During this difficult time we are meeting online twice per month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday's at 7pm via Zoom.
Visiting Rotarians and guests are always welcome but please contact us beforehand, using the 'Contact' option below, for entry details and so we know to expect you and don't leave you in the Waiting Room.

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
