Golf Day raises £7000 for local and International Charities
21teams had a great day competing in a Texas Scramble;the winners were Covert 1, from the Stonehaven area. Conor Fitzsimmons from Allied Business Finance won Closest to the Hole, and Lesley Findlay from Blairgowrie Ladies and Matt Jacobs from Covert 2 had the longest drives.
Rotarian Robib Duncan, the organising poer behind the event, paid tribute to the generosity of the competitors, principal sponsors Graham Environmental, and the many local businesses and individual Rotarians who had made donations in cash or kind. Blairgowrie Golf Club is a superb venue, and even the weatherwas fairly kind.
