Message in a bottle scheme

This is a bottle containing medical details of vulnerable people that may require a home visit from any of the Emergency medical teams operating in the Havering area.

Once a  month we visit Queens Hospital in Romford to promote the take up of the Message in a Bottle scheme.

We have a display and table located in the foyer of the hospital, so can easily pass on information to the visitors there and supply them with bottles if they wish.

This is for vulnerable people with medical conditions that may require a home visit from any of the Emergency medical teams operating in the Havering area.

Each bottle contains 2 stickers: one is placed on the inside of the persons front door, and the other is placed on the fridge door. It also contains a sheet with all the relevant information about the prospective patient so that he or she can be treated with confidence in an emergency situation.

'What We Do' Main Pages:

One of 3 Rotary Clubs operating in the London Borough of Havering, based in Upminster.
