The booked and cancelled speaker Margaret Mills was going to talk about Essex & the Bronte connection we wish Margaret a speedy recovery and look forward to booking another date
Essex & the Bronte connection: Patrick Bronte, father of the famous Bronte sisters, had an Essex connection, and although his time spent in Essex was short, it was definitely not uneventful, nor unromantic . (Note: this talk also has a humorous element, as well as some insight into conditions in Essex in the early 19th century).'What We Do' Main Pages:
