Frugal Supper - Foundation"™s 100th anniversary

Wed, Nov 16th 2016 at 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Every year Senlac Rotary Club holds a ‘Frugal Supper’ to raise funds for our major charity The Rotary Foundation, the history of which was expanded upon by Rotarian Laurie May. The leek and potato soup (which was really nice) was supplied by the Cooden Beach Hotel. This was supplemented by one of Roger’s fundraising Do(d)ggy Bags to drum up a bit more cash.
In all they raised £519.27p for the Rotary Foundation. Well done everyone, and thanks for all the loose change!
We were also celebrating the Foundation’s 100th anniversary, so the Foundation committee ‘acquired’ a suitable birthday cake too.
