A cheque for £2,000 was handed over to Steve Kilmartin of Dom’s Food Mission by Senlac Rotary’s President, Roger Young, at the Club’s meeting on 5th October. The donation was a share of the proceeds from Senlac Rotary’s very successful Music by the Lake event which was held over the August Bank holiday weekend. Other recipients were the Club’s own charities the Yellowmen and the Senlac Rotary Trust Fund.
Steve said, “We are really grateful for the money which will help us to continue with our mission to help feed the less fortunate and to help people become better at using foods which might have been thrown away.
