Senlac Rotary Club hosted a meeting on 30th August where the guest speaker was Mark Underwood, the District Membership Chair. Joining Senlac Rotary were Rotarians from the St Leonards, Hailsham and Eastbourne AM clubs.
Mark’s talk was brief but very much to the point. He started by pointing out that we may have to rethink how we do things if we are to survive and to think about diversification. He considered, and expanded on, that there were five main spectrums that we need to think about, age, occupation, gender, ethnicity and disabled persons.
He also spoke of a “Find out more about Rotary” coffee morning initiative his club, Gravesham with Ebbsfleet, had set up in their area.
