Entertainment from the Pett Level Slip Buoys

It was a real “Heave-ho, me ‘earties” at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association on Wednesday as the Pett Level Slip Buoys entertained some 50 Senlac St Leonards Rotarians and guests with a medley of sea shanties. At the end of the evening Marcia Bryant, the Rotary Club’s President, presented Steve Hill of the Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat with a cheque for £500 from the proceeds of last year’s cycle challenge. Marcia said, “Over the years the club has supported the PLIRB fund because of the important work they do saving lives and helping people in trouble at sea. We have recognised that there is a cost to this and you are not supported by the RNLI.”

Senlac St Leonards Rotary Club would like to thank the singers for the entertainment and the East Hastings Sea Angling Association for hosting the event.
