Peter Nuttall will host Lucy Moore and Erin Hussay from Leeds Museum Services with Sofia Prassa on cash desk and John Moorhouse delivering grace
Lucy will talk about the work of the Discovery Centre which is the main storeroom for the museums and contains over 1,000,000 objects. The centre works with local communities, schools and volunteers as well as conserving the collections and arranging loans. If members are interested a tour of the centre can be arranged.

The Thursday group meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Horsforth Golf Club between 6.00 and 8.00 p.m. on an informal 'drop-in'basis. New members are always welcome.

Tuesday lunchtimes was the only weekly meeting when the Club began in 1953 originally meeting at the then Yeadon Airport. Since then as times have changed so have the venues but we are now firmly ensconced at Horsforth Golf Club
