Doncaster Classic Car and Bike Show
Sun 2nd July 2017 at 10.00 - 16.00
Our 11th Doncaster Classic Car and Bike Show is on Sunday 2nd July 2017, organised by The Rotary Club of Doncaster St George's (Events) Ltd with the Traditional Car Club of Doncaster.
South Yorkshire's Premier and biggest show of its kind with entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
The Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show 2017 is soon to be upon us. This year being held on Sunday 2nd July at the usual venue of the Doncaster College for the Deaf, on Leger Way, Doncaster, making it very handy for access from the north and south, particularly via the A1 and M18/M1/M180 motorways.
Organised by The Rotary Club of Doncaster St. George’s Events Ltd., on behalf of the Rotary Club and the Traditional Car Club of Doncaster, the continued success of the show, not only in the numbers coming along, the fantastic responses we have, but in the money we raise for the local community, means that we can again expand the event. Since last year with access to better public car parking facilities (right opposite our venue), the whole show-ground is now taken over for show exhibiting vehicles, trade stands and entertainment. We continually monitor the pros and cons of each year’s event and work to provide better facilities each year.
This year we have great entertainment, yet to be confirmed but certainly we will be bringing back some of the best entertainment from previous years, live on stage for everyone to enjoy. Trade stands are expanding each year as more people appreciate the ‘market place’ environment we set up with availability of stands outside or inside, so we don’t have problems with the weather.
The arena displays always create excitement for the visitors and car owners alike, so better parades this year again with a wide variety of vehicles to interest everyone.
This year we have a new major sponsor for the show, Riverside Motors, the local Mitsuibishi dealership and thanks for them for support to the event, and the benefits they bring.
Another new feature are Show Stand Awards. Every car club coming along, exhibiting more than 6 vehicles, will be presented with a trophy which they can present on the day to the most deserving owner/vehicle on their display, the awards to be presented in the arena during the afternoon.
Another successful feature to be continued relates to the commemorative programmes. With over 30 pages telling you about the event, the cars present and the entertainment, this year EVERY visitor will receive a programme within their entry cost. Not only that, but every progamme is numbered, a draw will take place in the afternoon, and the lucky winning number programme holder will receive a cash prize of £100!
The Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show is not an event to miss. It gets bigger each year, with more entertainment and exhibits, raising more money for local good causes (because ALL the profits go back into the community), and at entry costs for all the family kept low so that everyone can enjoy a fantastic event.
Don’t miss it. If you want to come along to exhibit your vehicle, be that a veteran, vintage, classic, exotic, custom or other interesting car, a classic commercial or PSV, bike, scooter, etc., please download a copy of our pre-booking form and return it as soon as possible.
