Supporting DPJ Foundation
We presented a cheque for £900 to DPJ Foundation representative Fiona at The Feathers Hotel, Aberaeron. The funds were generated through two Winter Fair fundraising events and a bucket collection outside Tesco Cardigan, helping this vital farming charity continue its important work.
RAY Youth Group Support
A £300 cheque was presented to Kathryn at the group's March meeting, raised during the Primary School's concert in July. This funding will help take youth group members on a two-day adventure break to Urdd Llangrannog in June, providing their carers with well-deserved respite.
Llangrannog Garden Volunteer Group
Our volunteer gardening team has reconvened after the winter break to tackle spring maintenance. Members enthusiastically rolled up their sleeves to begin tidying the memorial garden in Llangrannog.
Schools' Sunflower Competition
This year's competition has grown exponentially to include schools in Aberaeron, Llannon, Llanarth, New Quay School and Nursery, as well as Bro Sion Cwilt. We've distributed 520 growing kits to children, with judging scheduled before the end of the summer term in July.
Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron ALN Kitchen Garden
We're supporting an exciting project to transform an existing recreation garden into a sustainable kitchen garden for ALN unit students. This initiative will help students develop lifelong skills by growing and cooking their own food.
Volunteer Opportunity - Garden Preparation Day
Join our working party on Friday, 2nd May to prepare the ground for raised beds and planting at the school kitchen garden. Volunteers are welcome not only for this event but for ongoing support as the project develops.
Fundraising at Ceredigion Garden Growers' Festival
We're planning a two-day fundraising event on 25th & 26th May at the Ceredigion Garden Grower's Festival, Square Field, Aberaeron. Please stop by to support the kitchen garden project and learn more about our initiatives.
Evening with District Governor
We enjoyed a productive evening with DG Malcolm Hallewell at our March meeting at The Feathers, Aberaeron. His knowledge and valuable input on club matters were greatly appreciated by all members present.

With several exciting projects underway, we're always looking for volunteers and new members to join our club. If you're interested in making a difference in our community without traditional weekly meeting commitments, we'd love to hear from you!
