In just seven weeks, we’ve transformed an idea into eight raised beds at the ALN unit of Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron—now filled and ready for crops! The final step is laying gravel paths to complete this hands-on learning space.
We’re thrilled to have been awarded £500 from the Rotary in Southern Wales District Environmental grant and an additional £300 for an environment-and-membership linked grant. These funds have made this project possible.
A huge thank you to Lloyds Aberaeron, MJ Sawmills Llanrhystud, and the Famous £1.20 Shop in Aberaeron for their generous materials and support. It’s a true community effort.
Our stand at the Ceredigion Garden Growers Festival sparked great interest in the garden project. £133.58 was raised in donations and from our higher/lower game—thank you to everyone who stopped by!
The tombola at the festival raised £326.60 for our local charities fund. We’re incredibly grateful to all who donated and played!
As we close out this Rotary year, plans for the next are well underway. Handover to President Elect Annmarie is complete, and we're excited for what’s ahead.
Join us at Bryn yr Bragdy, Brynhoffnant, for our final meeting of the year. PE Annmarie will outline her goals for 2025/26—come along and be part of the future!
