Twinning with St Ingbert Rotary Club in Saarland

Stroud Rotary is twinned with St Ingbert Rotary Club

You may remember our joint venture with our twin club St Ingberts in Germany to collect thousands of pairs of spectacle frames and lenses to send to Sri-Lanka.
There were a few hiccups along the way with transporting them direct from Germany to Sri-Lanka so Lackshman and Jim from Stroud Rotary Club had a little trip over to France where we met members of the German club and have now got the consignment back in the UK ready to export to Sri-Lanka.
We would like to thank everyone who donated and a huge shout out to First Call Auto Rentals for very generously discounting the cost of a van for our trip.
