On 21st March, the St. Martin’s Community Centre buzzed with excitement as the Rotary Foundation Quiz took place.
This annual event, dedicated to raising funds for the Rotary Foundation, saw around 120 enthusiastic participants come together for a night of fun and philanthropy. The Rotary Foundation, established over 100 years ago, continues its mission "to do good in the World."
The evening was a resounding success, with even the team that came last enjoying the event. We are thrilled to announce that we raised just over £2,000 for the Rotary Foundation!
Our quizmaster, Sean McManus, led the event with great skill, supported by his efficient team. The delicious food was prepared by Alan and Heather Dearman, along with David and Jos Mortimer, while Rod Goldsbrough expertly managed the bar.
A special thank you goes out to our Club members who sourced or donated raffle prizes, and to the Guernsey Dairy for their generous donation of butter, which was a key ingredient in the Ploughman’s Supper served during the event.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this night a memorable one!
