Parkstone Rotary continue to be very active in the local community with a number pf projects both new and ongoing.
 
1. Education -
As well as the Education and Literacy support given through the Rotary Foundation we have had a successful year including "Youth Speaks" and the annual schools "Technology Tournament" which was a great success. Also, we have been involved with several school Mock Interviews and a Careers Fair. Plans are already in hand for 2025/26 events.
2. Community Projects - 
	- The Friends of Dolphin - Dolphin was first started in 1997 by Parkstone Rotary.  Bob Irwin was a club member at the time.Dolphin 1 was launched in 1998.Later it was taken over by Friends of Dolphin. Bob is still a member of Parkstone Rotary and is also Vice Chairman of The Friends of Dolphin.This September Dolphin 3 was  decommissioned and Dolphin 4 will be in service for next year. This was our 2024/25 President's charity and a number of events were organised  during the year including coffee mornings, a sponsored walk, Xmas collections etc. All together over £6000 was donated to the charity.
- Turners Nursery - Over many years out support has continued and recently we funded identification labels for trees in the orchard.
- Classic Car Show - An ongoing annual support.
- Medical Assistance Dogs - An event was hosted in Alexandra Park highlighting the training and work of the dogs.
- Bournemouth Churches Housing Association - We provided hats and gloves for the homeless.
3. Environmental - 
	- Win on Waste - Continuing to look for recycling opportunities.
- Litter Picking - Regular Saturday collections at Turlin Moor. A derelict boat has been planted  and we have donated towards plants and compost.
- Oakdale Junior school - Support for the after school gardening club including the donation of tools and a gardening shed.
- Green space in Parkstone - A new project is under investigation.
