The Rotary Club of Ryde held a Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday 5 November at Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde. Gates open at 6.00 pm and there was ample car parking. The fireworks was be run by Titanium Fireworks, one of the largest operations in the UK, it was one of the safest, biggest and best displays on the Island.
The evening of family fun will start with music and children’s entertainer Stevo the Magician, followed by the very popular Bloodstone Border Morris Dancers and Wight Diamonds Marching Band. The firework display will commenced at 8.00 pm with the countdown by The Mayor of Ryde, Henry Adams.
The bar operated by Smallbrook Stadium and the barbeque run by Ryde Rotary which continued after the fireworks with more music.
The entrance fee profits from the barbeque they will go to Ryde Rotary Club and be donated to local charities and good causes.
