Hawick Rotarians were pleased to welcome members of the Hawick 41 Club to their meeting at Mansfield House Hotel on Thursday 20th February. After a sociable meal, teams which included members from both clubs took part in a light-hearted quiz hosted by Rotarian Ron Smith who had devised questions around the theme of red, amber and green. The questions definitely tested the little grey cells and led to many cries of “Of course” as the answers were revealed. The winning team were Scott Elliot, Andy Tyler and Tony Warburton. Ron received a well-deserved hearty round of applause from an appreciative roomful of contestants.
President Iain Smith, thanked the 41 Club members for coming and said that they would always be welcome to attend Rotary meetings if they were of interest to them.
