BID - GO EPSOM at the Marketplace - Epsom
The event returned again this week to the delight of all families, children, and carers providing entertainment and fun for all. The weather was good and the turnout fantastic this week and on offer were teacup rides, puppet shows, juggler and entertainer performances, arts and crafts and the enormously popular rounds of crazy golf, which attracted all age groups, to include people from the local business having a go.
Epsom Rotary with some assistance from Ewell Rotary oversaw safety of the event, and Karen Pengally from Bid and Paul Taylor from GO EPSOM spent time around to see the results of their wonderful project.
At the Rotary Stand children were encouraged and produced very decorative paper flowers, and won small prizes on the game at our stall. Thanks to all volunteers from the Club and one in particular a keen golfer enjoyed helping marshal that event and was pleased to see a colleague golfer have exhilarating fun with his grandchildren. Some new comers at the event this week but many returned, all expressing the electric atmosphere.
