Presidents Handover Dinner

Our delayed Presidents Handover Dinner was well attended and a good meal was enjoyed by all.

President Win Griffiths then opened the meeting and his first action was to present Catherine Williams with the Rotarian of the Year shield for 2024 – 2025 for the excellent work done with young people in our community.

Win then installed Paul Cheadle as President for 2025 – 2026, Tony Berrow as President Elect and Sonja Cain as President Nominee. As is traditional, Tony was presented with the President Elect's plate.

Paul thanked Win and the Acting Presidents over the last 6 months for their efforts and presented Win with a tie emblazened with elephants, his favourite animal.

Paul's vision for the year, being our centenary, is one of opportunity; to deliver our centenary projects, further engage with our community and continue to drive membership.
