Hainsworth, a Pudsey-based specialist textile company, was founded in 1783 and its history and his 40 years with the company were described by Rotarian David Hainsworth at the Club meeting this week.
The firm supplies high-quality cloth for ceremonial wear, including royalty among its customers, technical and industrial textiles engineered for specific uses and interior fabrics for areas such as cabinet linings.

David became company chairman in 1989 and son Thomas took over as managing director in 2004.
