 Membership & Development Committee

This committee deals with recruitment, retention and the development of our members.

By becoming a Rotarian, you become a member of a worldwide club of over 1.25 million members in over 200 countries. Clubs exist in almost every city and town in the world.

At present, we are looking for more men and women of all ages and backgrounds to join our club and to have the chance to use their time, talents, skills and energy to improving the lives of people in the local community and others around the world.

By joining us, you can enjoy the benefits of business networking,  meeting new friends, learning more about the City and its people, having a great deal of fun and experiencing that special sense of fulfillment that comes from achieving something really worthwhile.

Apart from the many avenues of friendship and networking that Rotary provides through its meetings and socials events, it also undertakes a wide range of charitable activities to support the local community and therefore provides you with the opportunity to put something back into society.

We recognise that it can be difficult for people to attend our lunch time meetings every week and that their time is valuable and so our meetings are designed to enable those with only their lunch hour to spend away from work, to attend for just 45 minutes, although you can stay for longer if you are able to do so.

If you would like to learn more about being a Rotarian here in Manchester, why not come along to one of our weekly meetings or events where you will be made most welcome, or we can arrange to meet you elsewhere to discuss membership or send you our speaker and events programme along with other material to study.
