Community Service in it's various guises has, with the generous support of Skipton Building Society, organised and run the Charity Car Park at The Bailey in Skipton for over a quarter of a century!
During this period of time the Charity Car Park has raised over a quarter of a million pounds which has been used to support local charities, clubs, schools and good causes in Craven. The full list of beneficiaries is too long to include here but a sample of some organisations that we have supported recently will give an idea of the breadth of our donations. They include; Skipton Food Bank, Sandylands Sports Centre, The Beamsley Project, Friends of Aireville Park, Brooklands School, The Principal Trust, SELFA, Carer's Resource, Embsay and Eastby Village Institute, SCAD and Skipton in Bloom.
The Charity Car Park has re-opened! if you find yourself in Skipton looking for reasonably priced parking on a Saturday or on a Bank Holiday weekend, then please consider supporting us. Park your car close to the town centre and help the lives of those in need! The CHARITY CAR PARK is just off the Bailey, postcode BD23 1AT, only a short walk to Skipton High Street.
