2 May 2012 - Margaret Howard talks about Chiltern Child Contact Centre
Margaret Howard gave a most interesting insight into her work with the Chiltern Child Contact Centre.
Margaret is based at the Amersham Free Church. Child contact centres and services are neutral places where children of separated families can enjoy contact with their non- resident parents and sometimes with other family members, in a comfortable and safe environment.
Over four thousand volunteers and staff work in these centres and over seventeen thousand children use them each year across the UK. They are run by independent organisations that form the NAC (National Association of Child Contact Centres) along with affiliated members such as family lawyers, CAFCASS, CAFCASS CYMRU and the judiciary.
Amersham Rotary Club thank Margaret for being with us today and wish her well working within our local community.
