Rotary D-Day Landings (II)

Gentlemen's visit to Normandy to learn about the American landings at Utah, the Allied drive inland, the German counter offensive and the French Resistance effort, and also to share good company and experience some fine French wine and cuisine

Meet at Precey (N175/E401 Voie de la Liberte).  Route taken by US 3rd Army led by General Patton into Brittany on 1st August 1944.  Take road E3 via Percy and St Lo to Utah beach area.  This route one of three roads used in the

Beer Festival (a great day in March)

The 15th Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival will be held in the Lostwithiel Community Centre on 16th March 2019 with rugby in the afternoon and music and dancing in the evening.
