Club makes a spectacle of itself

Our club was invited to perform at the Christmas Extravaganza staged by the Rotary Club of Barrow-in-Furness. Inner Wheel were also invited.

The thespian and vocal qualities of some of our members were put to the test when we joined with our parent club and Inner Wheel for a Christmas Spectacular at The Lisdoonie in Barrow.

Our elite team had been practising for weeks (well a couple of hours anyway) before we were let loose with, amongst other things, our rendition of the Twelve Days of Rotary Christmas. As the title suggests it was slightly different to the version normally staged at this time of year.

The Barrow Club and Inner Wheel also did their bits before we tucked into a buffet and the delights of the vocal talents of Dave Roberts. At least he could sing!

A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
