Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

During 2013 Carol Rosoman, the wife of our then president, Dave Rosoman was diagnosed with Leukaemia, a great shock to them both and also of course to their family and friends.

It was also a shock to members of the club who wholeheartedly shared their love and support as Carol underwent several courses of treatment. It was wonderful therefore when we finally heard that she was in remission.

As a club we thought it was important to support an organisation which looks into the causes and treatment of this terrible disease and Dave & Carol suggested Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Sophie Loveday from that organisation was invited along and came to a recent meeting where she gave a very interesting and informative talk about the work of the charity. President Peter Davies and Carol Rosoman then presented her with a cheque for
