NAME THAT BOAT !!

Wed, Feb 25th 2015 at 12:00 am- Sun, Mar 15th 2015 - 12:00 am

Your opportunity to suggest a name for the special wheelyboat to be provided to the Castle Semple Centre to enable disabled wheelchair sailors to get out onto the water.

Gryffe Valley, with the support of many Trusts, companies and other supporters, managed to raise some 27,000 to fund the purchase of a special power boat for Muirsheil Country Park at Castle Semple. This will enable 4 wheelchair-bound sailors, and their carers, to get out onto the water at Castle Semple - a thrilling and liberating experience for them!

The boat is soon due to be handed over by renouned Olympic sailor, Shirley Ann Robertson. Before that can happen, the boat needs a name and we invite suggestions - these can be forwarded to bob.ross7@gmail.com with a closing date of 15th March. whoever submits the final name will be invited along to the handover ceremony.
