The competition lasted all afternoon and was held at St Joseph's College, Reading. It was organised by Rotary District 1090 with the assistance of the Rotary Clubs of Loddon Vale and Reading Maiden Erlegh. 10 young people gave impressive performances and the judges in their summing up said that technically they were all excellent and that the judges had to award the price mostly by their performance, not their technical skills. Our entry, Emma Hibbitt performed well, but sadly only the first placed could go through, so she misssed the cut.
