YOUTH PROJECT 2015 – 11 SEPTEMBER, LUSTY GLAZE

YEAR 12 STUDENTS FROM WADEBRIDGE SCHOOL SPENT AN INDUCTION DAY WITH THEIR TUTORS AT LUSTY GLAZE DOING A RANGE OF TEAM-BUILDING EXERCISES.  THE DAY - PART FUNDED BY WADEBRIDGE ROTARY CLUB - WAS A HUGE SUCCESS AND A LOT OF FUN, AS THE PHOTOGRAPHS CLEARLY ILLUSTRATE.  AFTER THE DAY,

THE STUDENTS SENT THE CLUB THIS THANK YOU CARD TO SHOW THEIR APPRECIATION:

Dear Wadebridge Rotary Club

We would like to express our gratification to the Club for sponsoring our recent excursion to Lusty Glaze.  By funding the trip, every student had the opportunity to attend, regardless of their family’s income (and around 97% did!).   It was the perfect chance to help the new form tutor team to bond with their groups, which is vital to give the students support throughout sixth form.  We were also encouraged to exceed our personal boundaries in activities such as the ‘Terror Tightrope’.  The trip helped us all to see that we can overcome difficulties and was a great success.

Thank you so much for supporting your local school, without this help from people in our community, Wadebridge Sixth Form wouldn’t be the same.

Yours sincerely
The Year 12 Students of Wadebridge 6th Form
