The speaker was one our own Rotarians Steve Tomlinson, who has been working in the USA for 4 years and visited several National Parks, of the 59 established and recognised ones in the States.
With some remarkable and colourful photos he took us on a grand tour showing the stunning features, some of which were the remarkable land formed `Bridges` as well as real Cowboy country and the Grand Canyon.
We also saw Indian built houses called `Hogans` and other features named the `Mittens`,looking like two hands standing out of the Desert, with the varied changing colours of the features.
It was a travel tour of remarkable interest and was much appreciated by our members.
John Heywood.
