Portsmouth Dragon boat Festival

This year the Portsmouth Dragon Boat racing returned to North Harbour in May. Last year it had to be defered to October due to an Algea bloom in the lake early in the year. This meant that once again we had a warm sunny day for the competion to take place.

Whiteley Rotary have taken part in this Dragon Boat racing over the six years and five years ago became Sunday Championship winners. since then they have never been outside the first two in the racing.

Once again this year Whiteley regained their proper position in this years Portsmouth event by becoming
