Ruairidh Geddes, a pupil of Hyndland Secondary School, representing District 1230 and The Rotary Club of Glasgow was a very credible runner up in the Instrumental section of The Rotary Young Musician Regional Final held in Perth on Saturday 16 April 2016.

Mike Halley (District 1010 Governor 2015/16). Marcus Swietlicki (Vocal) Rotary Club of Penicuik) Winner Vocal. Naomi Anderson (Vocal) Rotary Club of Edinburgh Braids runner up Vocal.
The two winners go forward to the National Rotary GB&I Final to be held in Abraham Darby Academy, Madeley, Telford on Saturday 30th April 2016.
