An Open Invitation to You

Invitation

THANK YOU!

Thank you for your interest in our Rotary Club and in the work of Rotary International.

Although this web site is still under construction, we hope that you have been able to find out something of our organisation of interest to you. The site has been in use since January 2006 and currently covers just a small sample of the projects which our Rotary Club has undertaken recently at local, national and international levels. The site is being expanded on a week by week basis with information and reports about us, our aims and objectives as well as our projects.

Who are we?

Rotary International is a worldwide service organisation with over 32,000 clubs in 168 countries. Our membership currently stands at 1.2 million men and women and we are probably the oldest and largest (in terms of active membership) service organisation in the world.

We are the Rotary Club of Misbourne Matins and we meet weekly, early on a Wednesday morning, in Gerrards Cross. Our breakfast meetings start at 7.30 sharp and end promptly at 8.30 am. We have a varied and interesting programme of meetings, often with a guest speaker, occasionally covering our essential business, but always with plenty of fun and fellowship.

Most of our 40 or so members either live or work within Gerrards Cross, the Chalfonts and the surrounding area as our name suggests. Rotary is a dual gender organisation and about a third of our membership are local professional and business women.

Service to the community is a significant part of our activity and last year we completed several fund raising projects.
