The club welcomes new members


Didcot Rotary Club welcomes new members. The club has a wide range of membership which includes women and men who are or were employed in many different occupations and professions.

These  include the following:- Education (Teacher), Biologist, Police Officer, Coach Tour Operator, RAF Aircraft Engineer Officer, Sports Journalist, Farmer, Private Client Stockbroker, Jeweller, Civil Engineer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Language School Proprietor, Headteacher, Railway Executive, Solicitors, Charity Executive, Chartered Electrical Engineer and Chartered Mechanical Engineer.

The club meets every Thursday at 12:45 pm for lunch at the Steventon House Hotel and the meeting last about 75 minutes and on most days we have an interesting speaker on a wide range of subjects.

The benefits of club membership include playing an important part in the local community. The opportunity to meet with other Rotarians anywhere in the world and attend their meetings. Good for making contacts on holiday or for business.

The club supports international and local good causes by fundraising.

As well as club support for charities and other activities individual members volunteer and give their time in a number of ways to help in the Didcot and wider are.

These include driving for SOFIA in Didcot, a councillor on Benson Parish Council, a member of Didcot Town Council, member of Didcot Town Twinning Assciation, singing with local choir, treasurer for local charity for the elderly.
