The Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's own charity, a not-for-profit trust created in 1917 by Rotary International's sixth president Arch C. Klumph, as an endowment fund. His initial contribution of $26.50 in 1917 has grown into a $1 billion grant programme "to enable member Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty"
