Rotary Clubs of Northampton Dragon Boat Event

Sun, Jul 16th 2017 at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Dragon Boat racing is a Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today- as well as the most fun! Crews paddle each 30' boat with a drummer at the front beating in time and a helm at the tail steering a straight line - hopefully!

In order to continue to raise money for good causes, the four Rotary Clubs of Northampton are committed to providing a packed day of entertainment for all the family, including shows and events, trade stalls and competitions, together with food and refreshments.

As well as a fun and entertaining day, our prime aim is to raise as much money as possible for the selected charities. Much of our profit comes from personal sponsorship raised by boat crew members.
