Bonfire and Fireworks 4th November 2017
Firework Display
The Rotary Club of Kibworth and Fleckney organised a bonfire and firework display on a field off the A6 at the bottom of New Road, Kibworth. During the morning there was heavy rain to dampen our ardour whilst building the bonfire, but by the afternoon the sky cleared, and as night fell a full moon rose dramatically over the display area and 1500 folk gathered to watch. The Hi5 Fireworks Company did not disappoint and yet again gave us a spectacular display.
Over £4000 has been raised that will go to local youth groups in Kibworth & Fleckney.
The Rotary Club thank all those who make this event possible and the local people and families who supported us by attending the bonfire and firework display.
