Honoured in the Bahamas

Pete Davis recounts his recent holiday visit.
Club member Peter Davis gave an
informal and amusing account of his recent visit to the Bahamas with his wife
Joan.
Peter and Joan have been taking holidays there for 32 years.
This notable landmark was taken up by the local media and resulted in Peter and Joan being invited to a private garden party at the Govenors residence, a meeting with the Minister of Tourism and a piece in the local newspaper, and the presentation of the above Certificate of Appreciation.
Even as they left the island they were recognized at the airport being something of a "celebrity couple."
