Young Writer Competition

We are seeking young writers from in and around St Andrews to uncover new writing talent in Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018.

The competition is looking for writers across three age groups to submit their fiction, non-fiction, story or poem to demonstrate not only their writing skills but also their imagination and creatvity.

There are three age groups – 7-10, 11-13 and 14-17.

Each entry should be on one single A4 page – and no more than 500 words in length. The theme – ‘A Different Perspective’ – can be interpreted as each child chooses.

All entries must be submitted by the end of February 2018; a winner from the Club's entries will be entered into the Rotary District and, if it wins through, will be in the national finals this summer. Good luck!
