After a presentation of a cheque to fund ambulances in Malaw at the Chilaweni Clinic, Ruthie Markus commented
"Another enormous thank you to The Rotary Club of Epsom for the donation
of £1,200 fund the purchase of three bicycle ambulances. These
ambulances will be purchased from
Sakarementa in Blantyre and will be donated to three outlying villages
in the catchment area of The AMECA Clinic. Village committees are being
set up to record their use and monitor security.
We are so very grateful to the International Committee at Epsom Rotary for flagging this initiative to club level and to the whole of Epsom Rotary for their generosity and enduring support for AMECA"
