Priory Rotary Club of King's Lynn support the 'Wheely Big Appeal by sponsoring two chairs 

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital's 'Wheely Big Appeal' rolls on at pace with over £16000 raised and the purchase of 20 of the 30 chairs targetted.

Funds folr the lates two chairs have been donated by the Priory Rotary Club who have raised the money during the year.

The Rotary Club often support local charities and decided that the hospital's Wheely Big Appeal was a worthy beneficiary.  The Rotary Club donated £800 and this was matched by Rotary's global charity, the Rotary Foundation, raising the total donation to £1600.

President KenBanks said "It's always great to support our local community and this is a great cause.  I tried one of the chairs out and they are very comfortable.  It felt like the Rolls Royce of wheelchairs.

Lawrence Morlaas, Hospital Fundraising Executive said: "It is fantastic to receive the support of Priory Rotary Club.  Theor efforts equate to the purchase of two wheelchairs, which will be of great use to our patients, enabling them to have greater freedom within the hospital to move around wards, attned clinics or to use our onsite facilities."
