Hungerford Rotary marked Geoff Adams retirement from the club, after 50 years as a Rotarian, with a special evening meeting at the Tutti Pole restaurant in Hungerford. Hugh gave the address and reminded the members that Geoff had been a member of Rotary in Australia and when he took up residence in the U.K., he joined the Hungerford Club. He has been a great supporter of the club for many years and has publicised the events and achievements of Rotary through the "Hungerford and Marlborough Adviser", a publication which he started when he came to England.  His retirement from Rotary was marked with a presentation of a certificate from President Norman, thanking him for his support over the years. To finish, Geoff was persuaded to tell the Rotarians and their guests one of his famous animated Kangaroo stories. It was an hilarious finale to the evening.
