Peter's father was shot down on September 3rd 1917 by Baron Manfred Von Richthofen and was victim 61/80.
The "Red Baron" was flying a Fokker Tri Plane. Upon capture Bird was put in a special camp for officers.
Peter has done great research and together with photos made a wonderful interesting talk.
