Visit to club by Ukranians
We were lucky to have visit
Recently we have a visit by Sergii Savytski, he is has been a member of Rotary Club of Kharkiv Multinational, District 2230 since 2014 He has held various posts most recently 2018/19 Assistant Governor District 2233 Ukraine- Belarus. In 2022 he became a member of ICC Committee Ukraine - Great Britain responsible for developing relations and friendship between Ukraine and UK.
He was joined by Maryan Hryhel who is not a Rotarian; he is representing United Ukraine Fellowship organisation (UUF). From the beginning of the war his group has delivered 67 ambulances to the front-line hospitals in Ukraine. These ambulances are saving lives in the most affected areas of the country.
Also, currently two members of the team are cycling through Europe from Polish/Ukraine border to London. The aim of this event to bring awareness to the people that the war is within the cycling distance from their homes. They will cover over 2500km on the ride and visit 15 European cities.
