Speaker Donna Talbot
Last night our speaker was DOnna Talbot from Emmaus.
She told us how Emmaus was formed 79years ago in France. There are 39 communities in the UK and 450 worldwide. 48 companions can be housed in Waterbeach. It provides safety and security to homeless people., to encourage them to live and find purpose.
They need £1.5 million a year to run their Community They are helped by donations, their shop, you can visit and they also have a cafe. An extremely admirable cause.
