Visit to Scarborough Fair Collection

A stunning, magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Fairground Rides & topped off with a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in the spacious ballroom.

intro to the fabulous collection

The Scarborough Fair Collection is opened specially for us from 6.15 to 7.45.  Very well worth a visit for all ages. We then moved on to the Ox Inn only three minutes away.

Great evening at the Scarborough Fair Collection  and the Ox Inn Lebberston (Wednesday 8th August 2018)

Over 40 members and guests had a most enjoyable visit to the Scarborough Fair Collection which hosts a stunning, magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in the spacious ballroom. The museum set  the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park had opened specially for our club in the early evening.

Nearly everyone enjoyed the rides on galloping horses on  the ‘carousel’ roundabout and many also braved the speedy revolutions of the ‘Thriller’ (holding tight!)

We were then amply fed at the Ox Inn where the friendly staff (just) coped with feeding of the forty four.

The evening was voted a great success by everyone – especially the majority who had not been to the Scarborough Fair Collection before.

Next time you have visitors this is a ‘must see’ attraction.
