Club members joined members from Margate Rotary Club and other volunteers in planting crocus bulbs that will result in purple crocuses

Crocus planting at the Sunken Garden, Westgate - The bulbs are tiny . The best way to plant is to use a spade to open up a line of turf, plant the bulbs and then replace the turf.

Sunday 1st December 2019 turned out to be a perfect day as members from our club joined Margate Rotary Club and volunteers from the Sunken Garden Society in planting the final 5,000 crocus bulbs donated by our clubs at the Sunken Garden at Westgate

The bulbs will result in purple crocuses to represent "Purple for Polio", part of the Rotary 'End Polio Now' campaign.
