Rotarians assist with delivery of the Newton News

Rotary Newton Aycliffe helped this week to deliver a special publication of the Newton News. Working alongside Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership and Paul Howells MP, Newton Press aimed to specifically target the elderly, infirm, housebound and disabled who may not have access to the internet. The edition features information, contacts, phone numbers etc. to help residents find the assistance, support or guidance they may need in the current crisis. Syd Howarth would be immensely proud that sons Paul, Stuart and Christopher are continuing to support the community from Newton Press in these unprecedented times.

During 2022, with the help of our County Councillors and funding from the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership - GAMP, Rotary Newton Aycliffe bought a trailer, and it was a natural progression to then make the decision to have a new Santa Sleigh.
