This year Epsom Rotary ran a young artist competition in conjunction with the local Guides and Scouts. By agreement the competitions were for the younger age groups.
The initial judging to arrive at six finalists in each age group was carried out by the guiding association from a total of 73 entries. The judging of the finalists has been completed by our very own art expert Carol Caiger in Ronnie (Veronica) Smith's Summer House. The competition should have been completed back in March/April but lockdown came hence the delay.
The two age groups judged were the Rainbows (5 to 7) and Brownies (7 to 10). The ages given below are when they completed their entry. The statements are in support of their artwork.
