CITY of Hereford Rotary Club President Nick Tecza has presented city businessman and local councillor Jim Kenyon with a Paul Harris Fellow Award.

Nick said: “I am delighted to be able to recognise Jim with a Paul Harris Fellow Award.

“This is the first time in the 90-year history of the club that a non-Rotarian has been given this recognition.

“This is the highest accolade that is given by Rotary International and is in recognition of Jim’s support in developing the Family Food Parcel Scheme.

“Jim not only secured the initial funding from Level Peaks Associates, he also packed and delivered food parcels for 23 weeks.”

“I am extremely honoured and humbled to receive this award and thank City of Hereford Rotary Club for all their work supporting the local community during the pandemic,” said Jim Kenyon.

Paul Harris Fellow Awards acknowledge outstanding work in the Rotary movement, locally and internationally.
